1. World class beach with a lot of facilities! Mellieha Bay Beach

It is probably the most beautiful beach in Malta but definitely the largest one in the country. Mellieha is a sandy beach with ramped access to the sand. There are umbrellas and sun beds for rent and tourists can enjoy a selection of water sports. There are also many cafe’s and snack bars to buy refreshments. The only downside of the beach is the fact that it gets quite crowded during summer weekends but this is something that you would expect at a famous beach like this.

2. Nice surf spot but the water is cold! Llandudno Beach

Llandudno Beach is one of the best beaches around Cape Town and is very famous among surfers. The beach has white sand with a few rocks and nice views from the mountains nearby. During summer the beach gets very crowded with people sunbathing or enjoying the sun setting in the Atlantic Ocean late in the afternoon. Don’t forget to bring some refreshments as the area around the beach is quite residential with many villas. One of the downsides of the beach is the fact that the water is cold even in the middle of the summer but it is a beach definitely worth visiting once in Cape Town.
